Jack Spade, Bloggers, and Spiked Cider Unite

Jon Gaffney of Lacking Self Preservation and Andrew Ray of One Man's Style were cool enough to help me throw a little holiday shin-dig the other night at Jack Spade on Newbury Street, aka, my second home.
We Jon and Andy pulled their resources together and got a really solid group in the shop.

We invited some of Boston's coolest bloggers in to check out all of Jack's sweet holiday collection while downing spiked cider and donuts

Some awesome people showed up alongside Jon and Andy, including Christine of N'East Style, Billy from Boylston Trading Co, Charlotte of The Wilder Things, and Marissa of Someduck. Just to name a few.
Dan Ferraro captured the evenings happenings. Peep it all below.

Thanks to all that showed up. We had a great time. And thanks again Jon and Andy. Let's spike some more cider soon.

I'll end with this pic of me and some of the Jack crew...

Cheers.

I made these little guys after perusing Nylon's December issue. I ripped out a page here and a page there...and then I had me some content.

I hope you like looking at them! Sorry if you don't.

Cheers dears.

Irina Lazareanu is hands down one of my favorite models. She's got a rockstar sex appeal coupled with ballerina grace (she used to dance). Her personal style is quirky with a men's inspired flair. Love. Just love.
So anywho, the ladies gracing the top of this blog are in fact inspired by a spread she did in Marie Claire. Tell me you remember this

Well, I was attracted to some images of her actually moving her lithe frame in a graceful way while wearing some beautiful clothes. I started the drawings with vine charcoal and then blew the pigments in the direction of her body. I even used a hair-dryer to blow ink in a similar fashion. Needless to say, they were fun to make. I hope you enjoy them.

Cheers lovely dears.
