Meet Rodarte at Pitti

I just read a great review by Tim Blanks on Rodarte's amazing 10 piece installation in a crummy old (abandoned) clothing store at Pitti.

To view it seems like it would have been an out-of-body-experience. Gowns suspended? Electric blue sequins? Carl Sagan? Lapis?
Yah, as Barneys stated in a tweet, it was a "religious experience". I'm sure. I wish I could jet away to see it.

Jump to the article and see the lovely collection here.
It's so relevant for me.
Do it.

And, if you're in Los Angeles when the pieces land there, you best go see them.

Cheers dears.

DVF Street Cred

I'm Still Here

Dear Readers Reader,

Oops. I've been MIA. My apologies. I've been transitioning into the summer season and traveling a bit. I've moved out of my painting studio, cut off my hair (this may not be significant to you yet, but I shall share a before and after) and I have been focusing on taking more pictures.

And since I will be without a painting space for a bit, there shall be a lot more Street Cred on here (let there be a resounding "wahooo").

I've been spying a lot of stylish peeps around The Bean, so it's my summer mission to take their picture and share them with you.
'Cause it's inspiring.
And because I'll need fuel in the fall when I return to escuela.
And because personal style is the best.
And, well, 'cause I can.

So stay tuned! Some photos are comin' at ya.

Cheers my dears dear.
